The land view of the trestle. It was burned to provide access for boats, I'm unsure if it was proper or not. Either way, no one seemed to care.

Eric Posey General No the trestle burnt years ago by a dare some guys got the other one to do is what my uncle told me several years ago. When the trestle burnt back in 1977 Southern went to Crisp County Power to ask them to help pay to fix up the line since they were the biggest customer back then getting in cars of coal. They told them they could have it cheaper brought in by trucks. 4/3/2009 5:30:41 AM
